Slowly but surely we are getting back into a routine, a new routine, but nonetheless settling into life in Round Rock, Texas. I know it's hardly fall yet, especially out here in the dry lands, but we are getting ready for the holidays and just started taking orders for holiday gifts. Christmas specials will be posted in the coming weeks, be on the look out!

Things have been busy around as we prepare to move to Texas. We will be open until July 22nd for orders and then closed until we are settled in our new home sometime in August. Local fans get your Cotton Candy now before we head out to the land of spurs and buckles. We are back

We are back and ready for custom orders...a few new changes to Cotton Candy. The first change is that all custom orders will require a 50% deposit and there will be a minimum order that must be met-email for details on minimums. Second and thirdly, we have added two new items to the shop. Pictures will be posted this week.

I am excited and honored that www.mamasurfs.com has featured Cotton Candy for their weekly handmade holiday post! In addition to that the open house was a success and we have a couple more events coming up that will spread the sweetness of Cotton Candy throughout California. A second shop is now carrying Cotton Candy. Eureka fans go into to the Beauty Stop in Henderson Center to check us out and all the other amazing gifts available along with hair and beauty products. It is very exciting to see the next phase of Cotton Candy taking off. I love the custom orders that give me new ideas. Look for a new product coming soon!

Sadie Warner Agueda the great thing about these is the headband part is actually made for adults but totally fit babies fine and doesnt leave a mark on their head when you take it off. also the flower is on a clip so you can remove and use in hair by itself or clip on a dress strap or on a different color headband.

Introduction

Well I think this is going to be longer than I thought, but I am so grateful for this opportunity to launch Cotton Candy that I have to do the introduction justice.

What began almost a year ago as a search for the perfect headband to match my daughters custom made Christmas dress, is now Cotton Candy. My humble attempt at creating a simple "flower" from the same fabric as her dress took a little longer than I thought. A few prototypes along the way and lots of practice and here we are.

With encouragement from friends and family I started to give headbands and clips to a few precious little girls. I have an incredible support system in my family. My sister in law volunteers to play with my kids to give me uniterrupted time and my husband stays up with me when I work late into the night. My mom is a multi-talented woman that has spent so much of her life teaching me attention to detail and about laboring in love in so many ways. Any skill or creativity I have is a reflection of the endless hours of sewing, school projects and, craftiness that she has poured into my life. I could fill a page with a list of all the things she has created or embellished for me, for one that custom Christmas dress for my daughter was made by her.

The addition of Cotton Candy has rounded out my life in a way that leaves me fulfilled and challenged, excited and grateful, and balanced and busy. I thought this was going to be my third baby, but life had other plans, because my third baby is due in March! The perfect surprise and blessing So with a very full home and heart, here it goes....
